编者按：长江之水，浩浩汤汤，奔流东去。在江苏这片灵秀丰饶的土地上，她蜿蜒舒展，滋养着两岸无垠的绿野。位于长江进入江苏后的第一座江心洲——新济洲，曾居住过1123户村民。2000年，南京市江宁区对新济洲实施生态移民，原住民全部搬迁下岛，自此，人声渐远，江岛重归寂静。在人类留下的屋舍残迹间，草木蔓发，万物生长。
经过近三年的蹲守拍摄、积累超过八十个拍摄日的珍贵素材，《江岛家书》纪录片在马年春节来临之际，特别推出“生命独白”系列短片。影片突破传统纪录片视角，将镜头交还自然本身，以生命的第一人称，娓娓讲述这片土地上生态保护与物种共生的动人故事。谨以此系列短片，献给我们所有生命共有的家园。
《一封候鸟的来信 A Letter from the Winged Traveler
羽毛并非都向往天空，风托起的翅膀也不会都带着梦想。
飞翔，有时也仅仅为了活着。
一群鸟，能够活着飞奔向远方，远比在夕阳下飞舞更重要。
每一根划过风的羽毛，都在追逐领头的召唤，
和伙伴同频，陪雏鸟驭风，和大鸟缠斗
凭风好借力，众起向青云。
所有领头都记得回家的方向，那条大河几座岛以及一方方水塘。
成千上万的小家，叽叽喳喳，吃喝玩耍。
每年长途跋涉的到达，都是为了下一个春天的出发。
这冬天庇护我们的地方，就是明年要回的家。
Not all feathers yearn for the sky, and not every wing lifted by the wind carries a dream.
To fly, sometimes, is simply to survive.
For a flock of birds, to survive and fly far together matters far more than dancing beneath the sunset.
Every feather that cuts through the wind follows the call of the leader—keeping pace with companions, guiding fledglings through the gales, wrestling with rivals in the air.
Riding the wind, we rise together toward the clouds.
Every leader remembers the way home—the great river, the scattered islands, and the familiar ponds.
Thousands of small homes, alive with chirping, eating, drinking, and playing.
Every long journey's end is the start of another spring departure.
The place that shelters us through this winter will be the home we return to next year.
